This week...
Social
Students will be spending this week working through projects and covering municipal government concepts in class. Today we focused on City Bylaws and how they are created. We reviewed this concept for the first half of social. Students were given the remainder of the time to work on their social projects which will be due:
TUESDAY OCTOBER 2! The day after the long weekend!
Math
In Math, students are currently learning about multi digit multiplication. Students are working hard to develop their strategies for solving 2x2 and 3x2 multiplication problems. For some helpful videos and practice go to Math Antics.com and watch the multiplication part 1 and 2 videos.
Science
In Science, Students have begun learning about the layers of the forest and the different animal classifications within them. This week our science spelling words will be due next Friday as we have two short weeks. The Spelling words are as follows:
