Today the students took part in the Terry Fox Run! A 500 m course was laid out around the school field and students pushed themselves to run for a straight 40 mins! Happy to report we are all exhausted for an amazing cause!
Today the students marked their first round of spelling sentences and completed their first spelling test. By marking spelling sentences students are able to improve their editing skills while building proper sentence structure.
Reminder!! Tomorrow is our walking field trip to Nose Hill Park!
We will be walking from the school to the park and then hiking up the hills searching for leaves and tree bark.
For the field trip tomorrow please bring the following:
- water bottle
- hat
- warm jacket and sweater
- snack
- proper footwear for hiking
- gloves
- sunglasses
- pencil and eraser
