Happy Wicked Wednesday (Forgot to publish my blog!)

Today the students went a walking field trip to Nose Hill Park!

We observed trees and learned about their different qualities. We examined leaves and used our senses to plan for a nature poem: what do you see, hear, feel, smell. We saw wildlife such as, deer, insects, birds, dogs, and even a coyote! We used paper and a pencil to create bark rubbings for our upcoming science project. We picked up several leaves that will be used for a project!
Here is what some students had to say about their trip to nose hill:

"It was awesome I really enjoyed the experience"
"All the prickly plants were very prickly"
"The nature looked really cool"
"There were lots of beautiful trees!"

Another blog message coming later today!
