Happy Frosty Tuesday Oct 2!

I was very happy to see all the students that braved the cold and made it in to school today!

The students started their day with a trip to music where they were practicing their specific instruments. I cannot wait to see all their progress at the winter concert.

In math we continued our work with multiplication of multi digit numbers. This will be the groundwork for working with decimals in a later unit. On Thursday we will be having our first official math test. This test will test the students on all the skills they have been learning in math since September.

In LA students were putting their knowledge to work with identifying different literary devices. This knowledge will help them as they begin to create poems and eventually story writing.

In the afternoon students spent the majority of time working on their newly assigned layers of the forest project. Below is the rubric and an example for the new project.

Stay warm and please drive safe!
